Double joint compensators

• These compensators consist of two accordions connected by a middle tube. The compensator works by rotating the accordions at an angle, which is achieved by coupling elements (hinged levers and screws) which ensures that the whole set takes a radial displacement.
• The use of these compensators can compensate for large displacements of the pipeline, and the advantage of this type applications is also the elimination of the need for robust solid points because the force due to internal pressure is taken over by the coupling elements.
